On a photoshoot for my band, I snapped this of Andrea while in the backseat going to a new location. Shot with Sean Murphy’s Canon 1Ds MKII 24-70.

Andrea

The whole crew.

Quincietta

Shot photos at my friends birthday “quincietta” party on Saturday, some really cool stuff came out of it. Here are the two birthday girls. Canon 5D w/ Beauty Dish.

Quincietta

Did a recent shoot for some friends and this was just an extra random shot. Canon 5D w/ 36″ softbox.

Justin & Acey

The last from the series thus far, taken in that great looking book store.

Headless Series: Photo #4

Bringing back the headless series since I never finished putting them up, here’s #3.

Headless Series: Photo #3

Friend of mine on his PDA at Fred 62’s in Hollywood on Vermont. Some great Bokeh going on here. Canon 5D w/ 50mm @ f/1.8

Mike @ Freds

Another from my friends place, awesome stuff all over, including the bunny mask of doom which has made many appearances… Canon 5D with some sort of 22″ beauty dish lighting… might have been ceiling bounced, I don’t remember. Great color tones here, I love blues/yellows/browns. PS. give me that shirt already I want it!

Found this photo just recently along with the Backyard Soccer photo. I think she was yelling or laughing or something, I don’t remember. I really need to use this cam more, just heavy as hell, 5 lbs all loaded, pretty nuts. All manual as well so it’s either Sunny 16 or my Sekonic light meter, but that’s just slow :P Crazy detail in this photo though, medium format film just kills. Mamiya RB67 50mm f/4.5

Brette

Photo #2 from the Headless Series.

Headless Series: Photo #2

Shot this weekend of my friend at his place. Little jack on the rocks in a nice matching glass. Canon 5D 24-70 f/2.8 and a 36″ softbox on the floor angled up.

A quick peak at some new post work from an old shoot. I like to pull out older stuff from time to time and see how I treated it at the time, then see what I could have done differently. In this new set, it’s got a very different emotion than what I had originally done, but I like the darker feel of them all. I’ll post a before and after sometime.

Park New

Playing around in a friend’s backyard with a rubber ball and nearly got smacked in the face. Shot with a Mamiya RB67 50mm f/4.5 (This snap just reminded me of the song Backyards by BSS, fantastic track, check it out here)

Backyard Ball

Walking to my car on the way home I snapped a few from the hip candid shots of this mother with her two daughters. One had this great fairy costume on and the other can be seen off in the background with a white dress on. In the second photo the other daughter is now the focus. The T/S gives a great effect to these two shots. Taken with Canon 20D Hartblei 85mm T/S.
