From my recent trip to New York, this is a rooftop shot of the Empire State Building a my little Canon SD1200.
Gas station somewhere in the middle of Texas. Canon 5D.
We pulled over somewhere in the middle of nowhere in Texas with pretty much nothing in sight. Canon 5D.
Taken from a rooftop in Hollywood of the Fido Apartments near Cahuenga
Another shot from last night in Utah. Canon 5D, 30 second exposure @ f/14
So I just arrived in Salt Lake City, Utah for a weekend with the family. Pretty awesome here, tons of snow, it’s been a while since I’ve been in it. Here’s a quick snap.
Friend of mine on his PDA at Fred 62’s in Hollywood on Vermont. Some great Bokeh going on here. Canon 5D w/ 50mm @ f/1.8
These apartments looked pretty cool at night against the big sky scrapers. Sort of looks like a model a bit, Canon 5D 24-70.
A shot from the other night at the beautiful concert hall. Downtown has some great places to shoot at night. Canon 5D, 1600iso hand held.
Okay so first off, sorry for the gigantic delay in this supposed-to-be-daily photo blog. I was out of town and things just got crazy and I lost track, but I am found again. I’ll be updating the archives so keep checking back for those as well as new stuff every day.
Here’s a night shot of this old red truck near my house. It’s pretty cool what you can find at night just wandering around.
Not so much, but a pretty shady looking place right between LaCresceta and LaCanada. Finally got some rain here the other night, winter might be coming after all!
For this photo I was using my wide angle 16-35 f/2.8 lens but had the lens hood from my 24-70 f/2.8 on it, it created some pretty cool/strange vignetting which I really like for these photos.
Here’s a long exposure night shot of this great old windmill right behind my house. I think exposure was around 30 seconds or so.
One from the vault of yore. Sweet looking alley on Pasadena right off Colorado Blvd.
Another from this series when I was shooting in Downtown LA, I really like this one, it’s very surreal to me, the building and bridge just look fake in a cool way.
First of a few taken in Downtown Los Angeles. Canon 20D 24-70 f/2.8 @ 1600
